1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Just Journal Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17219113), trading as Say More Daily ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them. Contact: hello@saymoredaily.com

2. What say more daily is

Say More Daily helps you practise everyday conversations and storytelling with AI conversation partners, and gives you AI-generated feedback. It is a practice tool. It is not professional coaching, therapy, medical advice, or an official language qualification.

3. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since we sign you in with email links and codes.

4. Ai feedback

Our feedback and scores are generated by AI. They're designed to be helpful, but they may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. Use them as guidance, not as a final judgement.

5. Not a crisis service

Say More Daily cannot help in an emergency. If you're in danger or crisis, call 999, or Samaritans free on 116 123 (UK). Outside the UK, contact your local emergency services.

6. Plans, trials and payments

• New accounts get a 7-day free trial of Plus features.
• After the trial, you move to the free plan unless you subscribe. The free plan includes limited practice (currently 1 story a week and 1 live chat a month). We may change free-plan limits.
• Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly. Prices are shown before you pay.
• Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires it.
• Your right to cancel: under UK consumer law, you can cancel a new subscription within 14 days of buying it. If you ask us to start the service straight away and then cancel within those 14 days, we may deduct an amount for the service you've already used.
• If we change the price of your subscription, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Plan limits (like the number of chats per month) are part of your plan and help us keep the service affordable.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use the service for anything illegal, harmful or abusive;
• try to make the AI partners produce harmful, sexual or hateful content;
• share your account, or try to get around plan limits;
• try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service;
• say or upload other people's private information without their permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Your content

You own what you say and record. You give us permission to process it (for example, to transcribe and score it, and store it in your history) so we can provide the service, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our content

The app, its design, frameworks (including the Four-Beat method and the Share and Curiosity scoring), AI partners and materials belong to us. You may use them for your own personal practice.

10. Availability and changes

We're a small, growing service. We'll try to keep it running smoothly, but it may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly affects a paid plan, we'll tell you and you can cancel.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

13. Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring claims in your local courts.
