Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Just Journal Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates Say More Daily at saymoredaily.com ("the Service").

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We've written it in plain English, because you should be able to understand what happens to your data without a law degree.

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. ICO registration number: ZC156656.

What we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

What we do not collect

What happens to your voice

This matters, so we want to be specific.

Story recordings: when you finish a recording, the audio file is uploaded to our servers and passed to a transcription service to turn it into text. That text is then analysed to give you feedback. The audio file is deleted immediately after processing. We don't keep recordings, and files are also subject to automatic deletion within 24 hours as a safeguard.

Live chats: your voice is streamed to our voice provider so the AI partner can understand and reply in real time. We do not record or store the audio of your chats. We keep the text transcript so we can score the conversation and show it in your history. Our voice provider may keep call logs and transcripts for a limited period under its own retention policy.

We do not use your voice to identify you, we don't create voiceprints, and we don't use your recordings to train voice models.

Wellbeing

If something you say suggests you may be in serious distress or danger, our system pauses the feedback for that session and shows you support information (such as Samaritans on 116 123) instead. We store only that the feedback was paused for this reason, alongside the session.
